In this review I will talk about one more recently.appeared model of lamps in the base H7. At the moment it is if not the cheapest, then one of the cheapest lamps from the whole range offered to us by our favorite Chinese stores. In addition, this model of lamps is also one of the most compact.
As usual, first a couple of words about the box. To reduce the price, apparently had to save a little on the packaging. This time the lamps are delivered in a soft cardboard box, and which is a plastic holder for the lamps. From the configuration here, in addition to the lamps, only a piece of paper with gratitude. By the way, this lamp model can be sold as a pair, or by the piece.
Go to the lamps. As usual, there is an aluminum case, which is one with the radiator. In the back of the lamp is a fan, covered with a metal casing. The casing is pressed on the radiator.
Lamps are available in seven bases: H1, H11, H3, H4, H7, 9005, 9006. It is worth noting that there is no curtain in the H4 base, you can immediately conclude how this will affect the cut-off line, but there is also a use for such lamps. In some motorcycle models, the H7 lamp is responsible for the low beam, and the H4 lamp can be used for high beams. In this case, the H4 lamp uses only a high-beam spiral, well, or in this case high-beam LEDs. To connect the low beam in the power connector is simply no contact. The adapter is installed on two sealing rings, holds tightly enough, I think that there will be no turning from shaking, besides the lamp is quite light.

We turn to the LEDs. As in most budget lamps, there is used an assembly of three LEDs placed on the same substrate. As practice shows, at the moment the dimensions of the LEDs are already as close as possible to the dimensions of the spiral of the halogen lamp, so that, it would seem, any such lamp should have an excellent cut-off line. However, there is one more factor that prevents this, namely the thickness of the case on which printed circuit boards are installed, for more efficient heat removal. I have already tested the lamp, in which the LEDs were installed on a single printed circuit board from different sides, and the heat sink was carried out not inside, but the outer part of the case. So here, now not the printed circuit boards are pressed from two sides to the lamp housing, and the lamp housing is pressed from two sides to the printed circuit board on which the LEDs are mounted. For even more savings on the same board can be installed driver.

The description indicates that the lamps can workonly from 12 volt onboard network. Measure the consumption of lamps in the voltage range from 6 to 16 V. The results can be seen in the table below. Well, for clarity, the table will build a graph from which we see that the lamps consume about 25 watts.
The polarity is indicated on the plug, in this case it is worth adhering to it, the lamp is not able to work from the reverse polarity. If you accidentally confuse the polarity, the lamp will not burn, but it will not shine.
Now about the heat sink. As I said, the lamps are very light, aluminum is less than usual here, and therefore it becomes more difficult to remove heat under such conditions. The LEDs of the lamp heated up to 155.6 ° C, and the radiator heated up to about 60 ° C. Such a big difference suggests that heat is not very efficiently transmitted. However, one of the lamps of this manufacturer that I had previously tested on LEDs had about the same temperature, and at the moment, after writing a review for that lamp model, I received only positive reviews. I can not say how what the situation will be here, but as for me, then 155.6 C °, it is a bit too much.
We measure the illumination created by both lampsmeasurements will be carried out in the brightest point. It so happened that I placed the measuring device at a distance of 1.1 m from the headlamp. According to the measurements made, it can be said that this LED lamp is brighter than standard halogen more than one and a half times.
As for the cut-off, I was expectingget a little better results, something with a sharper shelf, but I must say that this is also a pretty good option, especially for its value. It is strange that the stores still sell lamps with huge LED arrays, because of which, instead of even such a bar as here, we get a large light spot. And most importantly, there are such lamps, with LED arrays more expensive, and sometimes almost twice.
Now I will direct the light into the distance. Immediately noticeable that the LED lamp is slightly brighter than halogen.

If you compare the lamp for such a cost, then theselamps will be the best option. Of course, there is much to strive for in terms of the cut-off line for developers, but it’s better to buy such lamps than with large LED arrays that don’t have any LEDs at all.
