Hello everyone, I want to introduce you to the nexta novelty from KZ, and again they released another headphone model in the budget segment. The scheme is used simple and well-known - 1 dynamic driver and 1 reinforcement. As for prices, the price tag ranges from about $ 13 to $ 18, if it is on average. The headphones themselves have undergone minor changes, all the details in my review. Details under the cut.

Characteristics: braided cable: 120 centimeters (removable, 2pin connector, 0.75 mm)
there is a version without a microphone or with a microphone (you need to pay extra)
resistance: 25 ohm
Headphone sensitivity: 104db / mw
frequency range: 20-40000 Hz
metal and plastic cases in three colors to choose from (black, cyan, purple)
2 emitters in each earpiece (1 dynamic and 1 reinforcement)
dynamic radiator: 10 mm, rebar: KZ30095
This is what the headphone case looks like on the front side, a metal insert is used, which is held on three screws. This insert looks very impressive, I like it.

I unscrew the screws, the upper screw is shorter than the other two. The lid itself is slightly pressed, there is no glue, that is, it just sits tightly and needs to be picked up with a fingernail.

It looks like the filling. What we see in the photo: the 2pin connector is fixed on special screws that are screwed into the inside of the case, that is, into the plastic part. Dynamic radiator: its diameter is 10 millimeters, it is located in a plastic chamber, it is fixed very securely. An armature emitter is located in the sound guide: KZ30095, partly it can be seen through the translucent headphone case (in the sound guide) but only partially, since the tip of the sound guide is made of metal.
Otherwise, the entire filling is seen with the helpan ordinary flashlight, but there’s nothing more to look at. Crossover as I understand it is missing. I didn’t disassemble further, I don’t want to send them to the dustbin, as it happened with KZ BA10, which I gutted.

The sound man can be said completely metallic, withprotrusion diameter: 5.8 mm in the thickest part. Nozzles sit confidently, the length of the sound guide is enough, and in my case the body so generally slightly protrude from the ears.

Found 2 compensation holes, one of which is through.

The sound system is closed with a metal plate, or, in our opinion, a “shower mesh”.
On the side is the application, with the model name KZ ZSN:

Go ahead, take a look at a work of art from Knowledge Zenith. 2pin connectors are made non-standard, they bulge, it looks something like this:

Respectively on the wire (2pin connectors)there is a special recess, due to which they are connected in such a way - as the manufacturer intended. But this approach saddens me, but what if something is wrong with the cable ... re-buy the cable for $ 7? Especially for KZ ZSN?
Actually photo, native cable:

Connect the earphone with the cable to the word - very reliable, you need a little effort to make.
Let's try the cable from KZ BA10, well, ugliness ...

There is a way out, haha, the cable from BQEYZ KB100 doesn’t look so bad :) :)

There is sound in both cases, the connection is stable. In general, you can of course temporarily listen with another cable, but externally - so-so, it all depends on the cable, as lucky.
What changes has the cable undergone? KZ changed the ears, well, finally, apparently listened to the people. The braid itself has become slightly larger in diameter, as well as a metal rod is now missing inside. The cable now does not displace the case, under the influence of the rod, now everything is normal.

Otherwise, it's all the same braided wire, the same plug-divider and one-button unit. I can not retell the meaning. Let me just say briefly, the cable is very good.

Cable weight: 14.5 grams:

Headphone weight: 5 grams:

What else affected the ear cushions: nozzles by default on the look the most simple, without notches, but I liked them. There is a feeling that the nozzles are securely fixed in the ears, which has a positive effect on sound insulation.

If we talk about spare nozzles - the complete nozzles were not changed, they are with notches, the same as in ZS10, AS10, BA10, ZSA, etc.
Included was still useless instructions and warranty card.

The box is standard cardboard.

On the side is the color, with or without a microphone, my version of the coloring: Cyan, purple cases also look very unusual.

Well, back traditionally lists the characteristics:

As for landing, in my case the hull slightly protruding from the ears.

Noise isolation, I drove for an hour on the bus and took the opportunity, checked that I can say - sound insulation is above average, you can listen to music comfortably.
The size of the enclosures is a classic behind-the-ear fit, a copy of the TFZ King Pro cases, if we are talking about size. Senfer DT8 will be smaller.
Pay attention to TFZ, they have a similar protrusion of connectors.

Inside:

I note a decent build quality of cases, for example - Kinera H3 ($ 100) are identical in quality, there is no difference at all.
Sound.

The total KZ ZSN feed is V-shaped, with a dominant bass and noticeable high frequencies, which in some compositions can strain your ears.
Source: Daart Canary.
What you liked:
one. Very good bass and generally very good low frequencies. Headphones noticeably highlight this area, the bass is soft, collected, outlined. The number is somewhere above the average, but I cannot say that there is a lot of it straight and that it clogs the entire range with it, the bass is quite literate. Sabbas is deep, but without going over, control of low frequencies at a normal level, which is surprising with an eye on the price tag.
2. I liked the stage and the transfer of vocals. The scene is not the widest, maybe it's a deception of hearing ... but still, the headphones try to sound realistic. The vocals are not outstanding, but they are not pushed too far.
3. They will show themselves well in electronic music, and also in slow compositions. If you want to listen to hard rock, metal, jazz, classics - it is better not to buy these headphones.
What did not like:
1. There are questions to high frequencies. Cheap fittings again spoils the whole raspberry. There is a light synthetic color on HF, it is noticeable when listening to live music, music with lots of instruments. It is also not the best way to win back plates, there is an unnatural hiss, but it is noticeable only when compared with more expensive headphones. Also, the top can cough up in fast tracks. In some compositions, the HF frankly begin to irritate, but that’s not all yet, here the upper mid frequencies are also accentuated.
2. The middle. The resolution leaves much to be desired, these headphones are not recommended for listening to rock music, instrumental-electric guitar rock ... There are also questions to timbres, especially for live music, many instruments sound restrained and improbable, the same electric guitars.
3. Such a detail.
4. IMHO, a dynamic emitter is not combined with a reinforcement. The emitters are not properly aligned.
Bottom line: good headphones for electronic styles, pop music, nothing more.
And that's all, thank you for your attention.
