A small review of the SSD drive Kingston A400 480 GB 2.5 inches SATA III

Hello!
I somehow needed an external disk and decided to take Ali on trial ... Moreover, I read quite good reviews on similar disks here, but with a smaller volume.
So, the SA400S37 is a 480GB solid-state drive based on the latest-generation Phison PS3111-S11 controller with 500MB / s and 450MB / s read and write speeds (according to the manufacturer).

The parcel came in a paper bag pasted over with a bubble wrap from the inside. Inside was a box with the disc itself and a small gift from the seller - a chain

On the upper side of the disk is the company logo and on one of the screws is a holographic seal, on the lower side there is a sticker with the disk marking, serial number and firmware version ...
Checking the disk on Kingston's SSD Manager:

Well, it seems like the disc is similar to the original one, since the program revealed nothing ...
Here is what the manufacturer promises us:

We connect it to USB through the external box for disks from Orico

Run SSD-Z

The disk model, firmware version and serial number are the same as those written on the disk itself. The type of memory, unfortunately, the program could not be determined ... However, the manufacturer’s website indicated TLC.
Now turn CrystalDiskMark

and HDD Tune

1 GB

16 GB

The advantages of this product (in relation to conventional disks) include: speed of data exchange, noiselessness, low power consumption, resistance to external influences, low weight ...
By cons - the high price ...
In general, the disc is quite good, although not veryfast compared to some other SSD drives, but we do not forget that it is from the budget series A400, and therefore should not claim to be outstanding speed ... Excellent, reliable "middling" ... As a result, I was pleased with the performance, performance too ...
P.S. I know that it is cheaper to buy offline
