Recently, I needed an HDMI switch, since there is only one monitor, and I want to connect a couple of devices to it (a media console, a laptop and I plan a game console there too).
At first I looked at Belkin devices, but for now I decided to save some money and take ordinary Chinese. Everything seems to work as expected. More info and photos taken on the bast shoe - under the cut.
I didn’t particularly choose - I bought on Aliexpress from a seller with a normal rating the simplest 3-port switch, which was delivered by regular trackless mail in 2 weeks.
The switch is packed in a plain transparent bag.
We look inside:
Actually, the chip of the HDMI switch BU16018KV:
And the microcontroller EM78P156ELMJ:
There are no elements on the reverse side, there is a bit of indelible flux:
Technical specifications from the seller’s page:
Input: 5 volts p-p (TTL)
Output video: HDMI 1.3b
Maximum Resolution: 1920x1080p
Vertical Frequency: 50 / 60Hz
Resolution 1920 × 1080 really supports. It should also support 480 and 720 i / p.
There is no automatic selection of the active input port. When turned on, port 1 is activated, switches to the desired button. The selected input is displayed by a red LED.
I will not recommend it for now - we’ll see if he dies in a month or two
Thanks for your attention. Good to all!
