I have been reading the site for a long time, but I decided to write for the first time, so healthy criticism is welcome.
Since the old laptop suddenly died, andbusiness trips are a fairly frequent phenomenon, I had to acquire a new one, but again, since there are a lot of business trips and the weight and size matter, an ultrabook was bought from Asus, which I loved and tested over the years. As with most modern LAN ultrabooksThere is no connector in it, but for work it is often necessary. Therefore, to be able to connect to the network not only via Wi-Fi, the HR01-U3 adapter from ORICO was purchased. This adapter combines 3 USB 3.0 ports and one Ethernet port.

Thanks to our mail, the package went on for more than 5 weeks, but nevertheless reached me.
The adapter was packaged in a standard (judging by the reviews on this site) for Orico brown box, which was packaged in a regular envelope with little bubbles.
So, let's start the tests.
First, let's check the speed of the flash drive directly inserted into the laptop.
There are 3 USB 3.0 flash drives available. First, I’ll test the speed of flash drives without a splitter.
First

Second

Third

All three simultaneously in a laptop without a hub

Now, in turn, check the flash drives in the hub:
The first in the hub

The second in the hub

The third in the hub

All three in the hub

As you can see, the hub does not significantly affect the speed and only if you use all 3 ports at the same time.
When testing in Iperf network card speedit was stable 950-980 MB, if during testing Iperf simultaneously start copying small files from a USB flash drive, then the network exchange speed over Ethernet sagged to 800-850 MB.
The case cannot be opened without damage, and since the product was bought for its own blood, it will not be parsed.
Each USB port has its own indicator of work. The network card, as always, has two indicators, one for 100MB, the other for 1000MB.
The distance between the ports allows you to insert USB devices of almost any size.

If you have any questions, ask.
I definitely recommend buying it, albeit a little expensive.
