Hello! On August 19, there was a sale on aliexpress and I decided to buy myself an inexpensive, but sophisticated phone. I chose between the zte q705u and jiayu f2, I decided to take the zte after all because of the more famous brand and larger screen. The phone went by Singapore post a little less than a month.
The delivery set is the most common: a phone, charging with an adapter for our outlets, a protective film on the screen (a gift from the seller) and that’s all. They didn’t even put the headphones on, but it's a pity.
I had to order an additional cover for it, by the way the phone is not very popular, so there are very few covers on it.
Design and Build
Design may seem commonplace to someone, but to meI like him. The back cover has a pleasant rough surface, because of it the phone does not slip in the hand. The phone itself is made with high quality, it fits comfortably in your hand (despite its huge size), but I didn’t like that the battery is not removable and the power button is on the right side too low, it’s not very convenient to press it. Also, touch buttons that are interchanged (back button and menu) are not very familiar
I really liked the display. Honestly, I did not expect such a quality display. Viewing angles are good, colors are bright and juicy. Also pleased with the multi-touch test that can respond to 10 touches! This is very unusual for a $ 100 phone, usually 5 touches, and then as many as 10.
Average performance by today's standardslevel, there is a 4 core processor mtk6582, 1 gb of RAM and a mali 400 video accelerator. Light toys without a cache just fly, heavier ones with a cache (real racind 3, gta sa, asphalt 8, etc.) hang up a bit, but you can play .
Sound and Battery
The speaker in this phone is located below and the soundoverlaps when you put the phone on a table, for example. I would rate the sound in the phone at 4 points on a 5-point scale, it is quite loud and clear, but slightly worse than on my main phone.
Battery Capacity 2500 mah. Not a little, but I would like more. I also put 4 batteries, but with a minus. It is barely enough for 1 day with a heavy load. The battery runs out at 1% overnight.
The camera disappointed. Blurs the image very much, but the macro is not bad. Autofocus is slow (it’s good to have one), there are no complaints about the flash. The video shoots in FHD, but it seems that my old nokia flashlight shot better.
A 0.3 megapixel front end is generally no good in 2014.
GPS is slow but true. Stably finds 1 satellite in 1-2 minutes at the window.
I was very glad when I saw on the phoneRussian language and google market. I realized that I would not have to reflash it, since I do not really like this business and am afraid to brick the smartphone. The translation is really not perfect, sometimes English words slip through, personally it doesn’t infuriate me and I calmly use this firmware. Also, after 2 days, an update came over the air, I did not update, since everything suits me on this firmware as well.
A couple of photos of the interface (worth go launcher, since the native one hangs a little)
In general, I really liked the phone, zte managedmake a good budget phablet. For that kind of money, he has few competitors, I think that this phone would be a bestseller if they slightly reduced the display and put an 8MP camera. I also advise everyone to watch the videos that I shot about this phone. Good luck to everyone and see you in the next reviews :)
