Folding knife based on the knife from MBS Russian Dr.Death

Hello. Overview of the knife, a distant copy of Russian Dr.Death - a joint work of MBS and American master Tom Mayo.
Here Original knife review
As it turns out, these knives are not very similar, and a copy of the subject can be called a stretch. Well, the original can still be bought for 190,000 rubles.
They send the knife in a rather large box, the knife lies in a bed of foamed polyurethane

The knife handle is made up of dies of different materials. On the left is a G10 fiberglass with a tenacious relief.

Right anodized steel plate with mechanismlock frame. The dies are held by two screws. The clip, rather rigid, is fastened with one screw. The blade is deeply recessed into the handle and it is impossible to open the knife with the fingers while pulling out the blade. Both dies have five large holes opposite each other. Moreover, the diameters of the holes in the metal die are smaller, since they are limited by the slot of the lock.

The blade is processed with thin transverse satin, hasdownhill almost from the butt, two-thirds false blade and notch in the base for the finger. The notches have a more decorative function, since putting a finger on them is inconvenient due to the protruding protrusion. The thickness of the blade in the butt is 3.2 mm, reduced to 0.8 mm.

The handle despite the simple form is comfortable, the clip is completely not felt. By its silhouette, the knife resembles Finnish, and the notches on the blade along with the false blade give the knife aggressiveness, not for nothing that the original is called Doctor Death.

The blade folds exactly in the middle.

Convenient notches for the finger are made on the handle and on the lock.

The castle goes almost to half an heel.

The only way to open the knife is by clicking on the fin. And the fin must be said very comfortable - there are not only deep notches, but also a notch under the finger.

The fiberglass backspace is a third of the handle, has a protrusion where an opening is made under the lanyard.
I will take apart the knife. Once again we are convinced that there is nothing to do with the original.

Bearings have cages made of some kind of polymer

In the blade deep niches for bearings are made, where they are almost completely hidden, protecting themselves from pollution.

In the fiberglass die there is a metal insert under the axial bearing

Factory sharpening is excellent. The knife perfectly cuts and shaves out of the box despite the “thick” roll of 0.8 mm. Here, the thickness of the blade 3.2 mm and fairly wide inlets of 1.5 mm play a role.

The backlash of the blade is absent, while it easily flips and closes under its own weight.
It cuts well not only paper, but also problematic products for cutting.
It cuts a wooden rail like carrots with thick chips.
If to compare with chikrys, then in the folded state the rat seems to be one and a half times more.
And if you compare the blades, the difference is not so noticeable, and the cutting edge of the subject is even a little longer than that of a rat.
The knife perfectly suits the role of ЕDC. Compact, the weight is relatively small.
