Hello everyone, today I want to tell you about the Oukitel K6000 plus smartphone. A very interesting smartphone with a good combination of SoC and a capacious battery.
Oukitel K6000 plus is the third modification in the popular Oukitel K6000 line of smartphones. A comparison of the main technical characteristics of smartphones from this line will be given below.

Packing and packaginga small box, inside of which there was a lot of cellophane, among which lay a signature box of orange. The design is quite calm (not counting the color), no unnecessary information, only the name of the manufacturer, on one of the ends there is a sticker with IMEI and the name of the model, and on the bottom there is a sticker with minimal information on technical specifications.
Inside the box in a plastic bag was a mobile phone, and below the delivery set, which included:

The delivery set is good enough, of course, I would like to see a protective glass and headphones in it, but this is not critical.
Design and appearance; Smartphone housing mademade of aluminum alloy and has a number of inserts on the back (top and bottom) of polycarbonate. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155 x 76.6 x 9.6 mm, and the weight is 211 g.
Traditionally, in the upper part of the front side there are: a front camera window, an LED notification indicator, a speaker, as well as proximity and light sensors.
At the bottom are touch buttons“Menu” and “back”, as well as a front fingerprint scanner, which is built into the mechanical “home” button, it is worth noting that this scanner supports gesture control. As I said, the buttons are not on-screen, but touch-sensitive and have a backlight.
All the remaining space is occupied by a fairly large 5.5 ”display.
On the back cover there is a window of the main camera, as well as a flash with one LED. The cover is combined, there are inserts made of polycarbonate and aluminum alloy.
Initially, a sticker withbrief instructions for working with a smartphone, and also on it you can find information about the purpose of the control buttons and about possible variations in the installation of a memory card and sim cards.
On the right side is the power button and volume rocker.
On the left side is a combined slot for installing a memory card and SIM cards.
At the top there is a mini-jack 3,5 jack for connecting headphones.
At the bottom you can find the holes that hide the external speaker and microphone, and between them is a standard micro-USB connector.
In general, the smartphone has a rather interesting appearance.
The Oukitel K6000 plus is equipped with a displaysufficiently large 5.5 inch capacitive Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixel) screen, pixel density 403 dpi. Multi-touch is able to perceive up to 5 simultaneous touches.
The screen is made using LTPS technology, has 16M24-bit 16: 9 colors, covered with Asahi Glass Dragontrail (2.5D). The manufacturer of the screen is AU Optronics. Contrast Ratio 1000: 1. Brightness: 330 cd / m2. Also, OGS technology was used in the manufacture, due to which the layer of touch glass is not located above the screen, but is practically an integral part of it. The use of this technology can reduce the thickness of the smartphone.
The viewing angles in the smartphone are excellent.
The MiraVision application is responsible for adjusting the brightness in the smartphone.
The hardware platform of the smartphone isenergy-efficient MediaTek MT6750T processor (8 cores 64-bit Cortex-A53 with a frequency of 4x1.0 GHz; 4x1.5 GHz (minimum clock frequency: 286 MHz), CorePilot technology. 28 Nm HPC + process technology) working in conjunction with a Mali-T860MP2 graphics chip (2 64- cores the bit works at a frequency of 650 MHz with support for OpenGL® ES 1.2, 1.1, 2.0, 3.1,3.2 DirectX® 11 FL11_1, RenderScript ™) and 4 Gb of RAM LPDDR3 with a clock frequency of 833 MHz. The amount of permanent memory is 64 Gb eMMC 5.1, but it can be expanded by installing a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 256 Gb (some sources indicate that the smartphone supports memory cards up to 512Gb). In addition, the manufacturer says that the permanent memory can be increased up to 2 Tb due to the use of hard drives, since the device supports the OTG function and reverse charging. In this case, we are talking about an external hard drive that is connected via OTG technology.
The smartphone has the most commonsensors: accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor, magnetic sensor (useful for covers), a fingerprint scanner built into the physical “Home” button, and the smartphone is also equipped with a three-color event indicator.
To verify the accuracy of the claimed technical characteristics, I give screenshots from the most popular applications.
As expected, the claimed characteristics are true.
The performance of the smartphone was evaluated in several synthetic tests, the results of which I also post below.
Looking at these results, you need to clearly understand thatthis smartphone is not a device that will show high fps with maximum graphics settings in various demanding modern games, however, with minimal and medium settings in these games, the smartphone will cope with ease.
The stress resistance of the smartphone to constantloads tested using the StabilityTest application. Quite expectedly, the smartphone showed good results in the process of testing the CPU / GPU, the smartphone, of course, slowed down, and the fps dropped to 5-7, however, mostly the fps was in the range of 50-58, but this did not happen often, the average was within 47-60 fps. The battery temperature did not rise above 43 degrees.
Memory cannot be called either fast or slow ... although it is closer to slow.
Wireless Modules A set of wireless modules inOukitel K6000 plus smartphone is fairly standard. The smartphone supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n (2.4 GHz; 5 GHz) with support for Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR (A2DP / HID / PB / AP), has an FM radio with RDS.
In order to check the quality of the WiFi module, I did a very traditional test, the screenshots of which I post.
In the first case, the smartphone was inclose proximity to the router, in the second case, the smartphone was 5-7 meters away behind a brick wall, in the third case, the smartphone was about 10 meters away behind two brick walls (wall thickness about 30 cm).

Surprisingly, no WiFi moduleno complaints. He is really good. And the fact that in the back room, where for most devices speed indicators tend to zero, the Oukitel K6000 plus smartphone allows you to work quite comfortably.

The smartphone is equipped with the currently popular combination tray for SIM cards and memory cards.
Possible installation options: nano sim + nano sim or SD card + nano sim, however, by viewing some simple YouTube videos and several manipulations with the sim card in your smartphone, you can install the nano sim + nano sim + SD card option. In general, there are no questions regarding the operation of the radio module. The 3G / 4G network smartphone catches quite confidently. I do not want to say that the indicators are better than in other smartphones, but certainly not worse.
It is worth noting that one radio module is installed in the smartphone, as a result of which, when talking on one SIM card, the second one will not be available.
If we talk about navigation modules, thenThe smartphone supports GPS, A-GPS, Glonass. With a cold start, the first satellites were found after 10-12 seconds, and positioning took literally 30-35 seconds.
Autonomy All Oukitel smartphones from the K line have fairly capacious batteries, and the K6000 plus is no exception.
This model is equipped with a rechargeable battery,the capacity of which, in theory, is 6080mAh, the manufacturer of the battery declared SCUD Battery Co., Ltd. Moreover, the included charger supports various charging modes: Mediatek Pump Express Plus 5V / 7V / 9V / 12V, 2A fast charging technology.
Thanks to these characteristics, the smartphone should be charged in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. This is a very significant indicator for a smartphone.
I measured the actual battery capacity using a simple tester, and, as we can see, it is very close to the declared one.
During charging, the current consumption was 8.8V, current 1.4A.
Small observations on the charging process:
40 minutes - 46%;
50 minutes - 56%;
1 hour 26 minutes - 92%.
In theory, the smartphone should play online video on YouTube via Wi-Fi at a maximum screen brightness of about 16 hours.
Camera The camera is another strength of the Oukitel K6000 plus smartphone.
Main camera: 16MP OmniVision OV16880 sensor. PureCel-S surround layout technology. The pixel size is 1 μm. f2 / 0. Dual LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), fast focus for 0.1s, HDR, face recognition. The maximum video resolution is 1280x720 (HD) 30 fps.
Unfortunately, to post photos on the site they had to shrink up to 40%.

Thanks to the wide angle, the front camera is perfect for the now popular group selfies.
Perhaps not everyone is familiar with PDAF technology. Most recently, this technology was used only in digital cameras, but now they are starting to implement it in cameras for smartphones. As mentioned earlier, PDAF technology accelerates the focusing process to 0.1 seconds.
I would like to say separately that both cameras are not interpolated programmatically, and the pixel values are real.
In practice, ending the review, I want a fewwords to say about the interface and the operating system itself. It is very pleasing that the OS practically did not change; it received several branded buns from the manufacturer, which mainly relate to gesture control settings. In general, the interface works very smartly, and it can easily be customized for you.

Conclusion Summing up, I want to say thatThe Oukitel K6000 plus made a positive impression on me. Concluding my review, it’s hard for me to think up what I don’t like about it at the moment. Perhaps I would like to have NFC and a better external speaker, but this is nitpicking. In general, the smartphone turned out to be quite high-quality and smart. Of course, in its characteristics, it is far from top-end devices, but for its money it is very good. At least at the current time, I get only positive emotions from using a smartphone. In truth, this is one of the few smartphones that survives to the end of the working day without recharging with very active use.
